If your payment is DUE, the company usually waits 3 - 4 days after the due date, and then issues a notice of cancellation.  The cancellation notice usually tells you, you have until a certain date to get your payment IN (note, not postmarked, but RECEIVED) and the policy cancels that date. 

So, it depends on if this was a due date, or a cancellation date.  It also matters if it&#039;s the policy renewal, or an installment. 

You need to call your agent, to ask.</description>
